He was predeceased by: his wife Ruth G. Williams (Schjunk); his siblings, Joyce Hopper and James Williams; his grandson Jared Sutherland; and his son-in-law Patrick Sutherland.
He is survived by: his children, Didi L. Sutherland of Huntsville, Ala. and Michael L. Williams (Amy) of Olathe, Kan.; his grandchildren, Madison Williams, Megan Williams and Justin Sutherland; his great grandchild Everest Mae Sutton; his brother-in-law Hans Henrik Bergenser; and his nephew Soren Bergenser.
Memorials are suggested to the American Society for the Prevention of Cruelty to Animals "ASPCA" or the American Cancer Society.
