Henry Carl Smotherman Obituary
It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Henry Carl Smotherman of Olathe, Kansas, who passed away on September 10, 2025, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Lester C. Smotherman and Bertha Elizabeth Smotherman (Kelly Farr); his son Keith Smotherman; and his siblings, William Smotherman, Ivan Smotherman, Eugene Smotherman, Ella Mae Crank, Mary Alice Reese and Wilma Lee Akins.
He is survived by: his wife Nancy Jo Henderson; his children, Kent Smotherman, Kevin Smotherman, Kirt Smotherman and Amanda Mawhirter; his brothers, Robert Smotherman (Linda), Floyd Smotherman (Diana), Howard Smotherman and LeRoy Smotherman; and his daughter-in-law Shirley Smotherman. He is also survived by numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great-grandchildren.
Memorial contributions may be given to Alzheimer's Association.
