He was predeceased by: his parents, Sherman Clevenger and Cordia Clevenger; and his son Michael. He is survived by: his wife Helen Bashor; his children, Richard (Patrice), Gregory (Rosella) and Deborah George (Lance); and his sister Ruby McBee. He is also survived by five grandchildren and six great-grandchildren.
