He was predeceased by: his parents, Daniel Day and Edith Day (Wilson); his stepmother Wanda Jennings; his wife Bernice Day; his brothers, Don Day, Bob Day and Wayne Day; and his daughters, Jodi Jenkins and Linda Smith.
He is survived by: his son Keith Day of Lawrence, KS; his stepdaughter Candi Scavuzzo (David) of Harrisonville, MO; and his son-in-law Dan Smith. He is also survived by his grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
