He was predeceased by: his brother John. He is survived by: his wife Edna; his children, Matthew Zimmer (Jeni) and Rachelle Theel; his grandchildren, Christen Spencer (Brady), Carissa Nohrenberg (Andrew), Caleb Zimmer, Tait Theel and Turner Theel; his siblings, Harvey Zimmer (Katrina), Keith Zimmer (Becky) and Joy Kadwell (Dennis); and his sister-in-law Glenda Zimmer. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
