James E. Lancaster Obituary

With heavy hearts, we announce the death of James E. Lancaster in Olathe, Kansas, who passed away on September 27, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

He was predeceased by: his parents, Glenn Edward and Ruth Frances Lancaster (Hougland); his brother Thomas Earl Lancaster; and his grandparents, Elmer, Bertha Lancaster, Aaron and Bertha Hougland.

He is survived by: his wife Virginia Carey; his sons, Tim Lancaster (Brenda) of Lake Lotawana and Dr. Trent Lancaster (Jody) of Ottawa, Kansas; his grandchildren, Tate Lancaster (Gracie Fitzgerald) of Overland Park, Hope Lancaster of Shawnee, Maddy Srna (Josh) of Gardner and Cooper Lancaster of Sabetha, Kansas; his great grandchild Parker Lee Srna; and his brother John Lancaster (Ellen) of Redfield, Kansas..
