It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Janet Hermes Day of Olathe, Kansas, born in Laramie, Wyoming, who passed away on March 17, 2024, at the age of 65, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by : her parents, John V. Hermes and Virgina A. Hermes; her brother Thomas S. Hermes; and her brother-in-law Daryl E. Rindt. She is survived by : her children, Rachel LaFreniere (Phil) and Riley Day; her husband Steven Traylor; her son Jordon Traylor; her granddaughters, Cecilia and Sloane LaFreniere; and her siblings, Victoria A. Rindt, Lynda H. Heimbach (Jeff), Rev. Michael P. Hermes and Douglas J. Hermes. She is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews and their children.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to St. Paul Catholic Church Building Fund in Olathe, KS.
