As Janis Rae departs from this earthly realm, her essence lingers — a whisper on the wind, a ripple on the water — a testament to the enduring power of love to transcend the boundaries of life and death. Though Janis Rae may no longer walk beside us, her spirit lives on in the memories and the legacy Janis Rae leaves behind.
She was predeceased by: her father Lowell Brune; and her sisters, Laura Beth Steele, Marsha Generaux and Patricia Brune. She is survived by: her husband John Camerlinck; her children, Joseph (Rachel) and Jill Camerlinck (Sam); her grandsons, Aidan and Lucas Camerlinck; her mother Anna Lu Brune; and her sister Melissa Bynum. She is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bonner Springs United Methodist Church (425 W Morse Ave, Bonner Springs, KS 66012). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, June 7th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location. A graveside service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Chapel Hill Funeral Home and Memorial Gardens (701 N 94th St, Kansas City, KS 66112).
