He is survived by: his parents, David Lane Tarr and Donna Marie Tarr (Clark); his girlfriend Bethany M. Istas; his children, Jackson L. Tarr of Olathe, Kansas, Brody M. Tarr of Olathe, Kansas and Bray M. Istas of Olathe, Kansas; his brother Derick L. Tarr (Serenity); and his sibling's children, Landon S. Tarr and Laura L. Tarr.

Visitation was held on Thursday, August 21st 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Bruce Funeral Home (712 S Webster St, Spring Hill, KS 66083). A funeral service was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at 10:00 AM at the same location. A burial was held on Friday, August 22nd 2025 at the Spring Hill Cemetery (750 W Lawrence Ave, Spring Hill, KS 66083).
