She is survived by: her husband Ed Chavez; her daughter Cristy Hense; her son-in-law Scott; her son Wesley Alexcites; her daughter-in-law Laura; her stepchildren, Brandon Chavez and Lauren Gonzales; her mother Nancy Westcott; her sisters, Janet Weidner (Steve) and Julie Shotton (Brad); her stepsiblings, Frank Cook, Bill Cook, Maureen Kratzer, Teri Sheeley, Nancy Anderson and Shirley Westcott; Jeremiah. She is also survived by eleven grandchildren, and many nieces, nephews and cousins.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Grace United Methodist Church (11485 S Ridgeview Rd, Olathe, KS 66061). A memorial service will be held on Saturday, September 26th 2026 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
