He is survived by: his parents, Jim Ernst and Kathy Ketelsen Ernst of Gardner, KS; his wife Heidi; his children, Joseph and Carlie of Olathe, Kansas; his sister Amy Muessel (Dan); his niece Alexandra; his nephew Luke of Omaha, NE; his parents-in-law, Mike and Sharon Hilleman; his sister-in-law Christie Hilleman Hocamp (Paul); his nieces and nephews, Michael and Mya; his brother-in-law Scott Hilleman; and his nieces and nephews, Taylor and Hudson.
