He was predeceased by: his parents, William Earl Nesbit and Enid Reed Nesbit; his grandparents, Margaret Elina Stotts Nesbit, Paul Lamont Reed and Clara Dell McCray Reed; and his friend Andrew Stoecklein.

He is survived by: his sister Diana Nesbit of Olathe; his aunts, Rosalind Jorn and Carolyn Reed; his uncle John; and his cousins, Jana, Kirk, Chris, Matt Jorn, Dusty Hudson, Cindy Reed, Lisa Miller and Paul Reed.
