John Robinson Gould Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of John Robinson Gould in Olathe, Kansas, who passed away on August 15, 2022 at the age of 90. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Edward Allen and Allena Gould (Robinson); his brothers, Allen, Grant, George and Robert; his brothers-in-law, Vic Smyth and John Keith; his nieces, Gretchen Gould and Chrissy Ann Gould; and his nephew Edward Allen Gould III Gould (Tig).
He is survived by: his wife Kirby Gould (Hughes); his daughters, Virginia Gould Hoskins (Benjamin James Hoskins) of Castle Rock, CO and Katherine Allena Gould (Sean Groff) of Olathe; his grandsons, John Robinson Hoskins, Craig McFarlane Hoskins and James Benjamin Hoskins; and his siblings, Virgil (Beverly) of Austin, TX, Genevieve Smyth of Austin, TX and Gretchen Keith of Castle Rock, CO.
The family wishes to thank the emergency room and ICU staff at Overland Park Regional Medical Center and Olathe Hospice House for their medical care in John's final hours, Midwest Transplant Center for their care in enabling John to donate tissue, and the staff of McGilley and Frye for their assistance in preparing for John's end-of-life plans.
