It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joyce Ferne Dearing of Olathe, Kansas, born in McLouth, Kansas, who passed away on August 14, 2022, at the age of 88, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to send flowers or leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Arthur James and Nellie Alta Scott (Hendrickson); her siblings, Norma Boyer, Freda Tiemann, Eugene Scott and John Scott; and her half-sisters, Lila Lanphear and Irene Sherry.

She is survived by: her daughter Diana Shade; and her grandchildren, Jeff Shade (Kathrine) and Lori Wampler (Shane) of McLouth. She is also survived by 5 great-grandchildren and 7 great-great grandchildren.
