It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Judith Ann Asay of Olathe, Kansas, born in Dubuque, Iowa, who passed away on September 12, 2022, at the age of 74, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Louis Schmidt and Lorraine Schmidt (Freiburger); her siblings, Debra Meyer and Dale Schmidt; her sister-in-law Patricia Schmidt; and her nephew Jason Schmidt.
She is survived by: her children, Shane Asay of Gardner and Carrie Buttron (Chris Griffin) of LaCygne; her stepson Eugene Asay of Tyler, Texas.; her grandchildren, Lucas, Taylor Asay of Springhill and Jaden Buttron of LaCygne, Kansas.; her siblings, Marlene Von Fumetti (Rick), Joy Leverence (Mike), Ken Schmidt and Dennis Schmidt (Lois); and her siblings-in-law, Robin Schmidt and Rich Meyer.
