She is survived by: her children, Josh Johnson (Rhonda), Christina Claar and Stephanie DeGeest (Kevin); her stepchildren, Rod Strait (Anja), Sheila Attia (Mohamed) and Sherry Hare (John); her sister Kimberly Hodgson (Mike); her stepsisters, Dee Ellen Slayman and Jamie Sasenick (Joe); and her grandchildren, Dalton (Brittany), Griffin, Scarlet, Haylee (Wayde), Peyton, Gabrielle, Chase, Danny, Maria, Henry, Evan, Nita and Chamain. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews, and dear friends.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, October 10th 2026 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Dengel & Son Mortuary - Crematory (235 S Hickory St, Ottawa, KS 66067).
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made directly to the family to help offset funeral expenses.
