She was predeceased by: her parents, Takumi Kondo of Okayama and Chiyoko Kondo of Sasebo, Japan.. She is survived by: her brother Fujio Kondo of Fukuoka-Ken; her husband Waymond "Bud" Kooken of Olathe, Kansas.; her daughters, Michiko Kooken of Olathe, Sandra Thomas (David) of Lincoln and Susan Jenkins (Dustin) of Olathe, Kansas.; her grandchildren, Conner Jenkins of Olathe, Kansas. and Samantha Jenkins of Olathe, Kansas.; and also Megumi Kondo.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the KC Pet Project or the American Diabetes Association.
