She was predeceased by: her parents, Alvin E. Feiss and Gertrude E. Feiss (Campbell); her husband Jon E. Slater; and her brother Harold C. Feiss. She is survived by: her daughter Dawn R. Cavnar (Jay) of Herndon, Virginia.; her grandchildren, MacKenzie Cavnar and Colin Cavnar; and her brother Douglas A. Feiss (Sara) of Olathe. She is also survived by several nieces and nephews.
