She was predeceased by: her parents, Benjamin Westerman and Anna Westerman (Link); her son Tyler Hines; her siblings, Dorothy Koenen, Eugene Westerman, Alvin Westerman, Marlene Sharp (Lampe) and Larry Westerman; and her nephew Rusty Lampe.
She is survived by: her husband Charles Sandy of Overland Park; her children, Shawn Hines (Tamzin) of Las Vegas, Patrick Sandy (Jessica) of Lee's Summit, Seth Sandy (Antoinette) of Overland Park, Kansas and Alexis Casey (Derek) of Olathe, Kansas; her grandchildren, Ben, Abby Hines, Julie, Roxi Casey, Beckett, Flinn Sandy and Oliver Sandy; her brother Daryl Westerman (Judy); and her sister-in-law Cheryl Westerman. She is also survived by numerous other nieces, nephews and other family members.
