We announce the death of Lora Brewster Hopkins (Olathe, Kansas), who passed away on October 2, 2026, at the age of 83. Lora will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lora Jenkins Green and Alfred Oliver Buckingham, Jr.; her significant other Bill Hopkins; and her daughter Becky.
A memorial service will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 3:00 PM at the Country Club Christian Church (6101 Ward Pkwy, Kansas City, MO 64113). A reception will be held on Thursday, October 15th 2026 from 3:00 PM to 4:30 PM at the same location.
