Marilyn Joan Grover Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Marilyn Joan Grover of Olathe, Kansas, who passed away on July 11, 2025 at the age of 85. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Schugart and Velma Schugart; her husband Delbert Grover; her siblings, Alvin Schugart and Anita Schugart O. P.; her son-in-law John Gerstberger; and her great grandchild Emma Violet Frohling.
She is survived by: her children, Greg Grover (Audery), Kelly Reinhardt (Brad), Denise Gerstberger (Grover), David Grover (Jodi), Kyle Grover (Lisa) and Sarah Rundus (Dan). She is also survived by 20 grandchildren and 21 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, July 20th 2025 from 3:00 PM to 5:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062). A Mass will be held on Monday, July 21st 2025 at 10:00 AM at the Prince of Peace Catholic Church (16000 W 143rd St, Olathe, KS 66062).
In lieu of flowers, the family appreciates memorial donations to Villa St. Francis, a skilled nursing facility that provided her wonderful compassionate care.
