It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Mark D. Smith of Olathe, Kansas, who passed away on March 23, 2024, at the age of 71, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Max A Smith and Helen E. Smith (Knowles). He is survived by: his children, Amanda Smith of Greeley, Kansas and Max Smith of Olathe, Kansas; his nephew Bryce Smith (Jennifer); his great-nieces and great-nephews, Carson and Parker of Holly Spring; his brothers, Joe E. Smith (Beverly) of Independence, Kansas and Robert Smith (Shirley) of Cuenca, Ecuador; his brother-in-law James Gartner (Chris) of Hudsonville, Michigan; and his cousins, Glenda Best of Pittsburg, Kansas and Richard Smith of Sulphur, Louisiana. He is also survived by numerous nieces, nephews, work friends and neighbors.
