It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Mark R. Godbold of Olathe, Kansas, who passed away on May 9, 2022, at the age of 57, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.

He was predeceased by: his father Dell Godbold. He is survived by: his mother Shirley Godbold; his wife Melonie Godbold; his children, Hallie Godbold and Tysen Godbold; his sister Marla Newberry (James); his brother-in-law Jarrod Goentzel (Laura Vanderhart); and his nieces and nephews, Aleia (Lauren Lockhart), Jaelyn Newberry, Brandon Newberry, Ian Goentzel and Sam Goentzel. He is also survived by many other aunts, uncles, cousins.

In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to a 529 college fund that is established for Tysen's future education.
