With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Mary Jane Scharmer of Olathe, Kansas, who passed away on May 1, 2023. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Henry Evert and Mary Evert (Zachow); and her siblings, Helen, Willus and Arvilla.
She is survived by: her daughters, Judy Swartzell (Ron), Jean Schultz (Keith) and Joyce Spruill (Ron); her grandchildren, Heidi Lang (Brian), Jeremy Schafer (Melissa), Jeffrey Schultz, Rick Spruill, Cliff Spruill (Elaniea), Liz Mokiao (Blake) and Andy Spruill (Randi); her great grandchildren, Brianna Gorter (Brandon), Lauren Evans and Alexa Becker (Austin); and her grandchildren, Emma, Kate Schafer, Teddy Schultz, Madden Harmon, Reid Spruill, Malachi Oswald, Alakai (Kai), Kamalani, Keoni Mokiao, Ryder, Everett and Meryn Spruill. She is also survived by 60 nieces, nephews and spouses.
