He was predeceased by: his parents, Frank Cihal and Mary Cihal (Liskovec); his wife Mary Kay Cihal (Hanus); his parents-in-law, John, Mary Rose and Geneveive Hanus; his sister Delores (Cihal); and his siblings-in-law, Leon Orender, Larry Riha, Gerald Hanus, Jeanne Hanus and Karen Steffensmeier (Hanus).
He is survived by: his children, Jean (Scott Patton) of Wellsville, Sheri (Kevin Hilger) of Olathe and Alan (Dana Cihal) of Seward, Nebraska; his grandchildren, Madi (Caleb Brond), Riley Hilger, Brenna Cihal and Cameron Schwarz; his siblings, Gary (Shirley Cihal) and Jeanne Riha (Cihal); and his siblings-in-law, John (Penne Hanus), Connie (Don Johnson) and Paul (Pam Steffensmeir). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces, and dear friends.
