He was predeceased by: his parents, Robert Peters and Munica Peters (Reynolds); his brothers, Bobby and Russell Peters; and his granddaughter Madison Shea Andregg.
He is survived by: his wife Diana Lynn Schaffer of Olathe, KS.; his daughters, Mellissa Shepherd of Overland Park, KS, Michelle Mussat of Overland Park, KS and Marla Andregg of Overland Park, KS; his brother Dennis Peters of Plano, TX; and his grandchildren, Stephen Mussat of Kips Bay, NY, Travis Shepherd of Tonganoxie, KS., Brayden Metcalf of Overland Park, KS., Mykah Andregg of Los Angeles, CA, Brianna Mussat of Overland Park, KS and Addyson Shepherd of Tonganoxie, KS. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the National Pancreatic Cancer Foundation or the Pancreatic Cancer Action Network.
