She was predeceased by: her parents, Donald Switala and Rita Switala (Strick); and her siblings, Judy Haug and Don Switala. She is survived by: her husband Dave Spehar; her brother Richard Switala; her children, David and Kelly (Patrick Daugherty); and her grandchildren, Max, Ivy, Remi Spehar and Afton Daugherty.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 from 9:30 AM to 11:00 AM at the Holy Trinity Catholic Church (13615 W 92nd St, Lenexa, KS 66215, USA). A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, May 28th 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers the family suggests memorial contributions to University of Kansas Cancer Center, Holy Trinity Catholic Church or Olathe Hospice.
