He is survived by: his wife Jean Eker; his children, Jacob Eker (Lauren), Melissa Eker (Aleko Khundadze Sr.), Danikka Bateman (Blair) and Josh Eker (Rebecca); his grandchildren, Kylie Eker, Garrett Eker, Aleko Khundadze Jr., Luke Kennedy-Eker, Wesley Bateman, Tristan Eker, Rylan Eker, Soren Eker and Hayden Eker; and his siblings, Charlotte Eker, Paula Eker and Mark Eker.
