It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Phyllis M. Sanderson-Haerter of Olathe, Kansas, who passed away on May 31, 2025, at the age of 83, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Arnold Hieb and Naomi Hieb (Charles Haerter); her former husband Larry Sanderson; and her son-in-law Steve Turley. She is survived by: her children, Kevin Sanderson and Suzanne Turley (David Forslund); her grandson Jake Turley (Josie); her great grandchild Elsie Turley; and her siblings, Patty Hollan (Dennis), Karen Ballweg (Keith), Stan Hieb and Kenny Hieb (Fran).
Visitation will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 from 6:00 PM to 8:00 PM at the Penwell-Gabel Funeral Home (14275 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062). A funeral service will be held on Monday, June 9th 2025 at 6:30 PM at the same location.
