He was predeceased by: his mother Naomi Phillips. He is survived by: his father William Phillips; his wife Marcia; his son Jared Phillips; his daughter-in-law Carla; his grandchildren, Charlotte, Greta and Harrison; his great grandchild Megan Doyle; his son-in-law Kelly; and his grandchildren-in-law, Ryann, Reese and Reagan.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made in his memory to Kaw Prairie Community Church.
