He was predeceased by : his parents, Thomas Earl and Alfreda Smith (Sandwith); his wives, Carole Stockmeyer and Diana; and his brother Thomas Harry Smith.

He is survived by : his sons, Rick Smith and Ronald Duane Smith; his sister Patty Heath; his stepdaughters, Lindsay and Jessica; and his grandchildren, Eric, Jessika, Leif, Sam, Cody, Eliza, Ivy and Luca.

Visitation was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 from 10:00 AM to 11:00 AM at the Bruce Funeral Home (106 S Center St, Gardner, KS 66030). A graveside service was held on Friday, April 19th 2024 at 2:00 PM at the Cadmus Cemetery.

Memorial contributions may be made to New Life Baptist Church, 19089 KS-152, LaCygne, Kansas.
