She is survived by: her mother Yefen Zhu; her sister Shiqian Zhang (Fujian); her nephew Huairen Zhang of Oakland Gardens; her mother-in-law Linda McDavitt of Pleasant Hill, Missouri; her brothers-in-law, Paul McDavitt (Diane), Chris McDavitt (Kelli) of Pleasant Hill and Joe McDavitt of Key West, Florida; her nieces and nephews, Lane, Brinlee, Charleigh and Paislee; and also Jason of Olathe.

Memorial contributions are suggested to the Susan G. Komen Foundation and may be sent in care of the funeral home.
