He is survived by: his close friend Jack Gladbach; his wife Pat; his brother Joseph Sasenick; his children, Sheryl Boone (John), Beth Ann Galban (Tony), Joe Sasenick (Jamie), Mary Pat Johnston, Carol Orlich, Stephen Sasenick (Ann), Jerome Sasenick (Kathleen Romero), Mark Sasenick (Mary) and Jeannie Kincaid (Chewning); his grandchildren, Brian Boone, Sarah Lepak (Boone), Johnny Boone, Julie Boone (Ceci), Devin Steuerwald, Audrey Steuerwald, Claire Brollier (Sasenick), Mady McMurdo (Johnston), Joey Johnston, Jay Johnston, Annie Orlich, Emily Davidson (Orlich), Drew Orlich, Brett Sasenick, Abby McClung (Sasenick), Tait Sasenick, Grant Sasenick, Molly Sasenick, Katie Sasenick, Macy Kincaid and Carter Kincaid; and his great grandchildren, Teddy Lepak, Paul Lepak, Mary Margaret Lepak, Eloise Lepak, Rita Mae Lepak, John Cannon Boone, Hunter Boone, Colt Boone, Summer Ceci, Anthony Ceci, Romeo Ceci, Cassidy Ceci, Bradley Johnston, Natalie Johnston and Hudson Orlich.
Visitation was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 from 9:00 AM to 10:00 AM at the Church of the Ascension (9510 W 127th St, Overland Park, KS 66213). A rosary was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 9:40 AM at the same location. A funeral Mass was held on Wednesday, September 2nd 2026 at 10:00 AM at the same location.
