With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Steven Michael Galaz of Olathe, Kansas, born in Kansas City, Missouri, who passed away on October 5, 2022 at the age of 36. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He is survived by: his parents, Josephine Galaz and Sergio Galaz, Sr.; his siblings, Jamie Carpenter (Kelly) and Sergio Galaz Jr. (Monica); and his nieces and nephews, Amelie, Coraline, Anthony and Michael.
As a chef, Steve's best experience was cooking for a retirement community during the Covid pandemic.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions in Steve's memory be made to Heartland Community Church 12175 South Strang Line Road in Olathe Kansas 66062.
