He was predeceased by: his parents, Betty Canaday and Loyd Canaday; his brothers, Tracy and Terry; and his granddaughter Tressa Canaday.
He is survived by: his wife Marsha Hayter; his children, Tara Ruff (Chris) and Tim Canaday (Wendy); his grandchildren, Carter Ruff, Tyler Canaday, Tia Canaday, Chase Ruff and Caitlyn Ruff; his sister Tammy Van Allman (Rich); and his sibling's children, Bradley Steffens and Amber Wilson.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 1:00 PM to 2:00 PM at the Christ Community Church (20600 W 119th St, Olathe, KS 66061). A celebration of life will be held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 at 2:00 PM at the same location.
