He was predeceased by: his mother Erma Gerber; his wife Linda Gerber; his son Justin Gerber; his uncle Robert "Melvin" Austeel; his aunt Carolyn Jeffery; his grandparents, Robert and Pearl Austeel; and his brother John Branch.
He is survived by: his children, Jessica Speers (Sam), Lindsey King (Colton) and Brandon Gerber; his grandsons, Tyler, Isaac and Levi; his siblings, Katie Duckett (Greg) and Jeff Gerber (Stacy); his aunt Edith Sundermeyer (John); and his sister-in-law Marty Branch. He is also survived by many cousins, nieces, and nephews.
