He is survived by: his children, Virgil Wayne Bailey Jr. (Lisa), Joleen McClintock (Billy), Randy Jay Bailey (Jonnette) and Sherri Lynn Grant (Clay); his grandchildren, Brian Bailey, Kelly Bishop, Kimberly Ramirez, Ashley Cherry (Zack), Lacey Bailey, Baille Gochenour (Andrew) and Josh Besanceney; his stepgrandchildren, Jason Bell, Jered Bell and Jordan Bell; his great grandchildren, Gracie, William, Benjamin, Evelyn, Jaxon, Ryleigh, Skylar, Patton and Rosie; and his siblings, Alvin J. Bailey, Donald A. Bailey, Betty L. Cribb, Retha Corbett-McReynolds, Darius, Freda Miller, Neva Joplin, Teresa Todd and Dale Bailey.
Visitation will be held on Sunday, October 18th 2026 from 1:00 PM to 4:00 PM at the McGilley & Frye Funeral Home (105 E Loula St, Olathe, KS 66061). A funeral service will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 at 1:00 PM at the Funeral Home McGilley & Frye Starting (105 E Loula St, Olathe, KS 66061). A burial will be held on Monday, October 19th 2026 from 2:00 PM to 2:30 PM at the Newcomer's Oak Lawn Memorial Gardens (13901 S Black Bob Rd, Olathe, KS 66062).
