He was loved and cherished by many people including: his daughters, Melissa Garms and Lindsey Hay; his brother Roger Dempsay; his stepbrothers, Jerry Hyatt and Floyd Hyatt; his parents, Mary Dempsay-Leslie and Clifford Dempsay; his stepmother Gerry Dempsay; and his brother Daryl "Dee" Dempsay. He was also cherished by many nieces and nephews.
