He is survived by: his wife Janet (Starks); his children, Steven Scherzer, Mark Scherzer (Kathy) and Nichole Worley (Travis); his grandchildren, Jessie Scherzer, Samantha Worley and William Worley; and his siblings, Jim Scherzer, Anne Scherzer and Judy Fryer.
