With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William H. Ketelaar (Olathe, Kansas), who passed away on December 5, 2025 at the age of 89. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Al Ketelaar and Vera Ketelaar (Speth); his siblings, MaryLou Brooks (William), Shirley Collier (Joe), Robert Ketelaar and Jack Ketelaar (Maureen); and his daughter-in-law Deanna Wendt Ketelaar.
He is survived by: his wife Barbara of Overland Park, KS; his children, Steven Ketelaar (Maria) of Coral Springs, FL, Timothy Ketelaar (Martha) of Las Cruces, NM, David Ketelaar of Pismo Beach, CA, Julie Jensen (Michael) of Olathe, KS and Lynn Ketelaar of Olathe, KS; his grandchildren, Nicole Duenas (Omar) of Mendota Heights, MN, Vincent Ketelaar of Pismo Beach, CA, Andrew Ketelaar of Pismo Beach, CA, Jake Jensen of Olathe, KS and Emily Jensen of Kansas City, KS; his brother Michael Ketelaar (Maureen) of Lodi, CA; and his sister-in-law Ann Ketelaar of Bettendorf, IA. He is also survived by numerous loving extended family and dear friends.
This finally paid off in the Covid pandemic when he did not run out of staples (including toilet paper).
