William F. Whitney Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of William F. Whitney of Olathe, Kansas, born in Abingdon, Illinois, who passed away on January 22, 2023 at the age of 91. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Joseph Franklin and Ann Ruth Whitney (Nelson); his wife Betty Jean Hoadley; and his siblings, Maralene Baughman, Shirley Whitney, Donna Oleski, Margie McIntire and Lowell Whitney (Ozzie).
He is survived by: his children, Sherry Whitney of Liberty, David Whitney (Donna) of Olathe, Wayne Whitney (Debbie) of New Braunfels and Susan Edwards (John) of Independence. He is also survived by seven grandchildren and eight great grandchildren.
Memorials may be made to the Abingdon Christian Church.
