He was predeceased by: his brothers, Richard Nelson, Bruce Nelson and Kevin Nelson; his niece Melissa Nelson; and his pet Levi.
He is survived by: his siblings, Rodney Nelson Sr. (Suzanne), Craig Nelson and Carla Nelson; and his friend Doc Holladay. He is also survived by numerous cousins, nieces, nephews, and great-nieces/nephews.
