He was predeceased by: his parents, Ralph H. Simpson and Leah L. Simpson (Beals). He is survived by: his sons, Dewey D. Simpson of Salina and Darrell W. Simpson of Bethany, MO; his daughter-in-law Janelle Simpson of Overbrook; his grandchildren, Lex Staples, Meghan Simpson, Caleb Simpson and Rachel Simpson; and his sister Bernice Rice of Topeka. He is also survived by 8 great grandchildren.
