He is survived by: his children, Donna Butterfield (Cliff) of Osage City, Eric Kerns (Cindy) of Topeka, Jim Kerns (Angie) of Ottawa and Will Kerns (Cherity) of Osage City; his brothers, Leonard Kerns of Manitou Springs and Bob Kerns (Julie) of Anthon, Iowa; his grandchildren, Ashley Romans (Joseph), Katie Kerns, Brandon Marinelli, Danielle Stevicks (Jesse), Luke Kerns, Jake Butterfield (Cara), Kenna Noonan (Colton), Jerra Lowe (Ashton), Zach Kerns (Hannah), Alli Bones (Chad) and TJ Kerns (Cheyanne); his great grandchildren, Violet, Clementine Romans, Forrest Kerns, Cannon Kerns and Brooks Noonan; his stepgrandchildren, Lance Jones (Christy) and Lacey Stevens (Rick); his stepgreat-grandchildren, Addy, Shea Jones, Alyssa, Brock and Jayce; and his great great grandchild Eli Stevens.
