He was predeceased by : his brothers, James and Jerry; his former life partner Shirley Boswell-Conner; his wife Gladys Hite-Conner; and also Helen Kellogg-Swearingen.

He is survived by : his former life partner Shirley Ann Boswell; his daughter Jenny Lynn Conner; his pet Buddy; his grandchildren, Jamie Lynn, Josie Grace and Justin Arthur; his stepchildren, Debbie Nanninga-Doherty, Sheri Randel (Rick) and Charles Nanninga; and his grandchildren, Jake Conner (Stephanie), Luke Wilson, Brent Randel (Brandi), Dustin Doherty (Kara) and Paige Leach (Sam).
