We announce the death of Janice Elaine Cherry of Osawatomie, Kansas, who passed away on August 6, 2026, at the age of 78. Janice will be remembered by family members, friends, and others whose lives were connected in meaningful ways. She was predeceased by: her parents, Charlie Elden Hay and Myrtle Marie Hay (Timblin); and her sister Dolores Hay. She is survived by: her son Kevin Cherry (Tammy) of Whiting, Kansas; her brother Dennis "Joe" Hay of Lane, Kansas; her grandchildren, Garnet Williams of Topeka, Candy Bounds of Osawatomie and Marti Cherry of Kansas City, Missouri; and her great grandchildren, Gabe Cherry, Aiden Cherry, James Duckworth, Gabriel Bounds, Brayden Bounds, Savana Bounds and Isabel Cherry.
