He was predeceased by: his parents, Jerome Kierl and Jacqueline Schmidt; and his sister Ellen Sue. He is survived by: his wife Joy Steele; his son Chris Kierl; his granddaughter Kaitlynn of Osawatomie; and his siblings, Jerry Kierl (Kathy) of Florida, Susan Carpenter (Everett) of Wichita, KS, Bill Kierl (Amy) of Parkland, Ann Chrisman (Rick) of Paola, Julie Dial (Merv) of Daytona Beach, FL, Joan Riscoe (Joe) of Overland Park, KS and Anita Parsa (Mike) of San Francisco, CA. He is also survived by numerous nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 from 10:00 AM to 10:30 AM at the Cross Point Church (1016 N Pearl St, Paola, KS 66071). A funeral service will be held on Thursday, June 12th 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
