She was predeceased by : her parents, Harlan Dettweiler and Thelma Dettweiler (English); and her granddaughters, Janet Waters (Rich McDaneld) of Osborne, KS and Phyllis Johnson (Monte) of Atlanta, GA.. She is survived by : her husband LeRoy Edwin Burghardt; and her son Ron. She is also survived by grandchildren, twenty-two (22) great-grandchildren and thirty-four (34) great-great-grandchildren.

A celebration of life was held on Thursday, May 2nd 2024 at 11:00 AM at 109 W Main St, Osborne, KS 67473.
