He was predeceased by: his parents, Paul Gruber and Anna Gruber (Tober); his daughter-in-law Denice Gruber; his granddaughter Jennifer Imler; his great grandchild JJ; his grandson James Gruber; his grandsons-in-law, David Dean and Kris Linden; and his great grandchild Jaxson Linden.
He is survived by: his sons, Raymond Gruber of Kearney, Rodney Gruber of Osborne and Ronald Gruber of Kearney; and his sister Lola Hostrom of Kearney.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 5:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Reynolds-Love Funeral Home (106 W 8th St, Lexington, NE 68850). A funeral service was held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 10:30 AM at the same location.
