He was predeceased by: his parents, Clyde Shorter and Elizabeth Shorter (Firestone). He is survived by: his children, Kevin Shorter of North Platte, NE, Amber Shorter of Independence, MO and Ashley Shorter of Russell, KS; and his grandchildren, Kaliegh and Sydni Davidson. He is also survived by neighbors and many friends.
